Tadelakt

Tadelakt is a construction technique used in Morocco, that used to make baths, sinks, water vessels, interior and exterior walls, ceilings, roofs, and floors. It is made from lime plaster, which is rammed, polished, and treated with soap to make it waterproof and water-repellant. Tadelakt is applied in several coats and finished using a special technique and the install process evidently is quite laborious, but it is worth it to make smooth-as-silk texture and seamless gloss, and transform a shower, kitchen or patio to a luxurious dream place
